Luis Siva

aka Luis Teves
Director

Born in Angola and a former teacher of Portuguese Language and Angolan Literature in the early days of the Angolan revolution (1975-80), which he left behind to raise his children in a healthier environment. He has been living in Macao since 1985, where he freelanced as translator and subtitle operator at Macao TV station (TDM) for more than 10 years, having also worked for several newspapers from 1992 to 1999, including Jornal de Macau, O Clarim, Ponto Final and Macau Hoje, where he was chief editor (1995-1997). In 2003 he set up the multilingual team for PROMPT to meet the challenges of the Macao SAR in the area of trilingual translation, editing and publishing.

Ms. Swallow Xu Caiyan
China Desk Chief Editor

A languages and literature major, Xu once worked in international trade field while contributing literate pieces to local newspaper. Since 2007, she has become a tri-lingual (Eng-Chin-Ptg) translator and editor specializing in the arts, culture and multimedia, cooperating in various capacities with different local and international media outlets.
She likes to cycle and travel, exploring local languages and cultures.

Founder & Director Luis Siva, aka Luis Teves, a former media man with more than three decades of experience in editorial services.

Senior Translator Wayne Wu,  A MA graduate in Translation and Interpretation from Monterey Institute of International Studies, in California, a former technical writer and currently a university instructor of Chinese-English translation courses. He has been a professional translator for more than fifteen years, with several published books.

China Desk Editor Stephanie Li Zhuanglin, an experienced translator and proofreader who cut her teeth at HKEX listed companies, PR firms, financial media and news agencies like AFP, Bloomberg and Financial Times.
